Steve E. Feder, DO
Born in Portland Oregon and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, Dr. Steve Feder has lived and practiced in Maine for over 20 years.
Dr. Feder graduated from Bates College, earned his medical degree at the University of New England, and completed a pediatrics residency through Harvard and Boston University at Boston Children’s Hospital/Boston City Hospital. Additionally, he completed the Maine Medical Center Physician Leadership Fellowship.
Nationally recognized for excellence in pediatric care, Dr. Feder has received the Maine Osteopathic Association Physician of the Year Award; the Maine Children’s Alliance Physician Advocacy Award; Tufts University School of Medicine Award for Excellence in Teaching; and the American Academy of Pediatrics Community Pediatrics Award. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Feder is the former president of the Maine chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He currently serves as clinical faculty for Tufts University and Harvard/Mass General where he is still active in managing population health and quality of care. He lives in Edgecomb with his wife and daughter and enjoys outdoor recreation.
